When using essential oils in cooking there are a few things to remember. Essential oils are pure plant extracts. They are potent and they pack a punch. So less is more.
ALWAYS start with one drop at a time - you can add, but not subtract! Sometimes, it might be better to use a toothpick and swirl that in if this is the first time using essential oils in cooking.

Essential oils are affected by heat and light. This is why we like to add in the essential oils at the end of the cooking process and store the bottles in a box away from the sunlight.
